SIGN UP REGISTER AS AN INDIVIDUAL UNDERGRADUATE APPLICANT FOR 2020 WITH WWW.UCAS.COM HELPFUL LINK PAGES & TIPS • Before you start your application, here are the top things admissions teams will look for when reviewing your application. • Qualifications. • Content of written personal statement displaying passion for the subject area, while demonstrating motivation, enthusiasm, and the skills and experiences that will enable you to succeed at university. • Quality and content of reference. • Knowledge of and commitment to the subject discipline. • Good attitude to learning and personal development. • Ability to articulate yourself fluently and accurately in writing – it is a sign of what's to come for tutors.
IMPORTANT DATES SEE: https://www.ucas.com/undergraduate/applying-university/ucas-undergraduate-when-apply For courses starting in 2019 (and for deferred applications), your application should be with us at UCAS by one of these dates – depending on what courses you apply for. If your completed application – including all your personal details and your academic reference – is submitted by the deadline, it is guaranteed to be considered. • You can now submit completed 2019 entry applications to UCAS from 4thSeptember 2019 • 15 October 2019, 18:00 (UK time) – any course at the universities of Oxford and Cambridge, or for most courses in medicine, veterinary medicine/science, and dentistry. You can add choices with a different deadline later, but don’t forget you can only have five choices in total. • 15 January 2020, 18:00 (UK time)– for the majority of courses. Some art and design courses have a 24 March deadline, so you can add these later; but don’t forget you can only have five choices in total. • Some course providers require additional admissions tests to be taken alongside the UCAS application, and these may have a deadline. Applying for Oxford and Cambridge, or for most courses in medicine, veterinary medicine/science, and dentistry. DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS IS: 15th October 2019 - 18:00 • Applications for any course at the universities of Oxford and Cambridge, or for most courses in medicine, veterinary medicine/science, and dentistry should arrive at UCAS by 18:00 (UK time) today. You can add choices with a different deadline later, but don’t forget you can only have five choices in total. NOTE: Many of the courses that use admissions tests are also the courses that have the 15 October application deadline – so it's worth checking these details in advance.
