  4. I-69 Indianapolis to Evansville ● Officially proposed in 1990 ● >10 years - Bike/ped bridge considered ● 10 years - BBC has studied and advocated a bike/ped bridge

  5. NOW • I-69, Section 5 – such a history of controversy • We are all moving on with I-69

  6. HOW I-69 WILL AFFECT ALTERNATIVE TRANSPORTATION • Closing of county roads, and limited overpasses • Dangerous interchanges • Addition of access roads to interchanges • Addition of bike facilities

  7. Vernal Pike Overpass planned with Bike Facilities to link B-Line with northern section of Karst Farm Greenway

  8. 3rd St / SR 48 interchange enhanced to include bike facility on north side • BBC’s view – dangerous and won’t be used
