ICONSULTING • ICONSULTING is a company focused on Consulting, Design and Development of Decision Support Systems – Business Intelligence • It was founded in 2001 by a group of young researchers working for the Data Warehouse Lab inside the university consortium called Cineca. • ICONSULTING maintains a strong link with University by investing in Research and Development • The inner Research Lab (R&D, Thesis, Testing, Products Evaluation) is a warrantee of independence from all the software vendors.

ACCESSES AUTHORIZATIONS SANCTIONS Background for the Analysis • In order to carry out a complete analysis of the in-traffic of the old town centre, information from various sources is needed: • Telecontrol system vehicle number plate, gateways, access time and date. • Authorization’s registers type of access authorization associated to the vehicle • Transaction databases of Municipalitity Offices Contraventions (PMGU Database) and other information regarding vehicles not recognized automatically at each gateway (SIRIO Database). OBJECTIVES

PROJECT GOALS To show the real benefits of using a BUSINESSINTELLIGENCE application to analyze accesses to a Limited Traffic Zone. 1 Evaluate the CAPABILITY of information integration. 2 Give examples of possible information analyses related to different authorizations and access to SIRIO/RITA. 3

  20. PROTOTYPE: Added Values • DATA INTEGRATION:possibility to put in relation/comparison data coming from various systems and applications. This kind of information results difficult to be handled by non-automated processes. • As a consequence ENHANCE data – integrated data can put in evidence very interesting informations/behaviours, not obtainable otherwise if separate data is to be considered. • Limited Traffic Zone CONTROL: possibility of constantly and on-time monitoring of various tipologies of accesses to ZTL.
