Broadcasting across the UK on DAB, freeview and online, it delivers non-stop hit music without the clutter of other radio stations. The station focuses on the most important things in the social lives of 15-34 year olds and embraces the excitement and dynamism of living in the UK today. The young team of presenters are engaging and fun, and play loads of music, speak to the biggest stars and gives away huge prizes!The music on The Hits Radio has to fulfil one simple brief – they have to be hits! We play the big current chart hits, the songs our young, female targeted audience are loving! Core artists include One Direction, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Rita Ora, The Wanted, Justin Bieber and Little Mix. Our audience are desperate to hear new music, and so we play them new music, and future hits before anyone else.The Hits Radio is fully interactive with its audience, with 4 hours a day being handed to let them pick what we play, on the station’s daily request show – Takeover UK.
