Reading levels should be marked for each quarter. • Due to so many individual variances a reading level explanation will not be added to the grade card. These questions are best explained by the classroom teacher to the parent. Clarifications
If a child receives regular accommodations in the classroom in order to access the curriculum the EL box is to be checked. • For ELL students – the comment that prints on the report card will state “This student is an English Learner. The student’s work was accommodated in the classroom to meet his/her level of English Proficiency.” English Language Learners
An “X” will be used, leaving it blank could cause an area to be inadvertently skipped Standards Not Assessed

With the changes that took place on some grade level report cards from quarter 1 to quarter 2, can all quarters be updated to reflect the current and consistent symbols? Clarity
In the lower grades there was some confusion on Y and N for science and social studies. Starting 3rd quarter unit names will be removed from the report card in grades K, 1, and 2. Science and Social Studies
