  4. SFPs Supported • Dual purpose uplinks on the C2960-24/48TC-S are not meant to be used as redundant link –only one port either SFP or Copper will be active at any time • Only Cisco SFPs are supported. Non-Cisco SFP inserted will be displayed as error-disabled.

Common Questions • Identical hardware between LAN Base and LAN Lite except: • No RPS for LAN Lite • Fewer SFP transceivers supported for LAN Lite • No uplinks on Catalyst 2960-24-S • Distinct pattern added to overlay on front of switch and “SI” added to upper right hand corner of switch • Cannot upgrade or downgrade Catalyst 2960 switches between LAN Base and LAN Lite
