Introduction: • E-fee master is an online software application which manages details like fees,dues,fines and intimating the students about the due fees in an educational institute. • It provides the interface to employees and students in a graphical way to manage the daily transactions as well as historical data.
Current system: • Current system is a manual one in which employees are maintaining books to store the information related to fee management. • There is no integration between institutes when administrator monitoring two are more institutes .
Disadvantages: • More manual hours need to generate required reports. • There is no individual or collective report generation exist in the current system. • We should maintain different books for different type of fee collection. • There is no integrated view present for administrator to view the colleges and students to manage them.
Proposed system: • Manages fee management details in an effective way. • No need of manual record keeping and generating reports. • This application keeps the data in a centralized way which is available to all the users simultaneously. • Administrator can easily maintain all management details of different institutes at one place.

Application design: • The major functionality of this application is divided into three modules. 1. Administrative User Functions. 2. Employee Functions. 3. Student Functions.

Software Specifications: • Database : MySQL 5.0 • Web Server : Glassfish . • IDE : Netbeans IDE 6.9.1 . • Front end : JSP / Servlets, HTML, Java Script.
Advantages: • Easy to manage all the daily transactions of students and employees. • It can generate required reports easily. • Easy to manage historical data in a secure manner. • Easy to use GUI that does not requires specific training. • Integrated environment. • It can manage number of college management details as a single unit.
Conclusion: • We have presented E-fee master application as an approach to reduce the manual effort needed to manage transactions and historical data used in a educational institute. • It is useful to record student’s details along with the fee details. • E-fee master is also used to generate reports dynamically for the appropriate students.
