  3. Wrocław is the fourth largest city in Poland. It is also one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in Europe. It’s the characteristical landscape with numerous islands on the Oder river the reason why Wrocław is sometimes called the Polish Venice.

  4. Wroclaw is a city with a strong academic identity, oriented to youth and education.It is the third largest university center in Poland.

  5. Wroclaw is a city with a rich and turbulent history. The Cathedral Island with its sacral Gothic architecture, which has been preserved in excellent condition,is a reminiscent of early medieval times. It’s one of the most beautiful complexes of sacral architecture in Europe.

  6. Another beautiful monument from this period is the Wrocław City Hall, considered to be one of the finest Gothic buildings in Central Europe.

  7. In addition to these extraordinary works of architecture, you will also find many modern buildings in Wrocław, such as the HP Park Plaza Hote and is the tallest residential building in Poland - Sky Tower.

  8. Old and modern architecture blends in with plenty of green spaces. 350 species of trees and shrubs grow in the Szczytnicki Park. There is also a unique Japanese Garden, created and nurtured in accordance with the principles of the Japanese art of gardening.

  9. An equally interesting place for walks is the Wrocław Botanical Garden, with its extraordinary exhibition of flowers, alpine garden conservatory, and the largest cactiin Poland, as well as the most famous Zooin Poland founded in 1865.

  10. Tourists perceive Wroclawas a thriving European cultural center. Many theatres, the opera, the concert hall and numerous clubs, museums and galleries provide continuity of artistic events. The pride of the town, however, are the international music festivals. The largest of them is the "Wratislavia Cantans". There are also: the „Jazz on the Oder” festival, International Jazz Soul's Day, Old Masters of Music Days,Singing Actors Festival and many others.

  11. A must-see is the Panorama of Raclawice - a panoramicpicture in a monumental rotunda, depicting the Battle of Raclawice on 4 April 1794.

  12. Wroclaw is also a water sports and river tourism centre and an important point on the sports map of Poland, proud ofits tradition in basketball, Speedway, football and shooting. To encourage active forms of recreation and parks, our city has got a constantly growing number of bike trails.

  14. BROCHÓW IS A DISTRICT IN SOUTH-EASTERN PART OF WROCŁAW, WHERE THE SECOND LARGEST RAILWAY JUNCTION IN POLAND (AND ONE OF THE LARGEST IN EUROPE) IS LOCATED.

  15. Brochów is surrounded by green areas where you can rest, play and learn.The oldest park in Wrocław is located here.

  20. In autumn we save our chestnut trees contaminated with a dangerous pest – the Cameraria ohridella

  21. Our Gipsy students present their culture dancing and singing in their traditional way.
