3. The Consumer protection Act 1987 This Act protects the buyer from unsafe products.
The Act is designed to protect the consumer from products that do not reach a reasonable level of safety.

You must not say for example, that an anti-ageing cream will make you look ten years younger
Or suggest that services, treatments or products may help the client to look younger
It is also a requirement to label a product clearly, so the buyer can see where the product was made.
8. The Resale Prices Act 1964 &1976 Manufacturers can supply a product at a recommended price, but the seller is not obliged to sell at the recommended price.
9. The Sale and Supply of Goods Act 1994 You, the seller, must ensure that the goods you sell are:

Reasonably fit to do the job they claim to do.
