NCH’s Experience Center Can Help The NCH Experience Center was designed as a tool to help staff with basic marketing and communication needs, as well as reinforce NCH’s brand, customer service and environmental standards. How do you determine if you need Marketing’s assistance? How do you get the help you need?

How Do I Find The Experience Center? • Go to the NCH website (nch.org). • Click on “Employees” at the bottom of the page. • Then click on “The NCH Experience Center” in the left-hand navigation. • Vendors can access the site via: www.nchexperiencecenter.org

Focus on Communication Standards • In addition to sharing NCH’s communication standards, The Experience Center was also developed to be a tool for staff. • Click on Communication Standards • Here You’ll Find: • Design & Writing Guidelines • Stationery • Photo & Graphic Library • Templates and Guidelines • Submit a Request • Approved Vendors
How Can The Experience Center Help Me? • What if I want to: • Share information in “e-inside community”? • Update our department’s page on nch.org? • Promote a community education program I’m planning? • Create a brochure for my patients? • What should I do? Where do I start?
“Submit a Request” to the Marketing Dept. • Under Submit a Request, there are two categories you can choose from: • Web Request Form (for NCH’s website, nch.org) • Project Request Form
Web Request Form • The “Web Request” Form enables you to request an update to an existing web page on nch.org. • You may also submit a “new” project request. • New requests will be reviewed by the Marketing team to ensure they meet business goals.
Project Request Form • Enables you to submit a request for the following: • Assistance with Marketing Materials • Assistance with On-site Photography • Sharing a Story Idea (for “e-inside community”) • Sharing a PR Idea • Assistance with Community Education/Event Promotion
Project Request Form • It’s important that you fill out the form completely. • This way, Marketing & Business Development can determine if we can provide you with the assistance you need. • Or, if we can offer another solution. • Once the form is submitted, it will be reviewed to ensure it meets business goals (depending on the type of request). • You’ll be contacted within seven days by a member of the Marketing team. • Urgent requests are handled on a case-by-case basis.
Other Solutions: Templates & Guidelines • Under Communication Standards, click on “Templates & Guidelines”. Here you’ll find templates you can use to create your project. • By using the Experience Center, you can feel confident that your project will meet NCH brand standards.
Other Solutions: Templates and Guidelines • Types of templates you’ll find include: • Flyer templates • Poster templates • Electronic letterhead and memos • Special Use templates (CareLink & LOS)
Using Templates • Find the template you need. • Save the template to your computer. • Close the original file. • Open the file that you saved to the computer. • Then add the information you’d like to share.
What’s Available? • For flyers & posters several different styles are available. • Electronic memos and letterhead are customizable to your location. • Order business cards through The Experience Center link with Purchasing.
How Do I Access NCH Logos? • If you need an NCH logo or NCH Medical Group logo for a project you’re working on, you can also find individual logos on the Experience Center available for downloading to your computer.
How Do I Access NCH Logos • Within “Communication Standards”, under “Design & Writing Guidelines”, click on “Download Logos”. • When you click on this, you’ll be taken to the Log-in/Registration Page. • Before you can download a logo, you need to become a registered user.
How to Become a Registered User • If you’re not yet a registered user of the Experience Center, you’ll need to become one. This helps us to protect the logo. • Follow the instructions on the upper half of the page. “To become a registered user, click here.”
How to Become a Registered User • Please note that your NCH network log-in will not automatically work so you do need to establish your own log-in and password. • Once you’ve completed and submitted the registration form, you’ll receive a confirmation email within 24-48 hours. Approval is usually given on the same day.
Now that You’re a Registered User • Once you receive the confirmation, you can go to the log-in page and type in your user name and password.
Downloading Logos • On the “Download Logos” page, you’ll see a list of variations of the NCH logo. • Take your cursor and hover it over the file name. The image that appears will show you what that version looks like.
Downloading Logos • Once you locate the version of the logo you need, click on the “Download” button and save the files to your computer. • In most cases, you’ll only need the jpg files. EPS and TIF files are used by vendors for professional printing.
