  2. “JAS Jeopardy” Chapter Overview • Chapter 7: Animation • The first and last frames of an action are called key frames and there is no standard frame rate of computer animations. Although, movies on film are typically shot at a shutter rate of 24 frames per second.

  3. “JAS Jeopardy” Chapter Overview • Chapter 8: Video • A hard-disk system that will support high-speed data transfer rates is typically called RAID, which stands for Redundant Array of Independent Disks. Generation loss can also occur when an analog tape is copied to another analog tape.

  4. “JAS Jeopardy” Chapter Overview • Chapter 9: Hardware • There are many types of memory for hardware in computers. Some examples are ROM (Read-Only Memory) which is the type of memory that is not erased when the power is shut off to the computer. Another example is E PROM (Programmable ROM) which allows changes to be made that are not forgotten. The type of memory a computer uses to run several programs at the same time is called SCSI (Small Computer System Interface).

  5. “JAS Jeopardy” Chapter Overview • Chapter 10: Software • Graphics are one of the amazing things that software can offer for computers. A graphic image on a screen that can be moved about to create animation is called a sprite. Each graphic scene in an animation is referred to as a frame.

  6. “JAS Jeopardy” Chapter Overview • Chapter 11: Multimedia-Authoring • Elements are organized as pages of a book or a stack of cards in a card or page based authoring system. Multimedia elements and interaction cues (events) are organized as objects in a structural framework or process in aicon-based or event driven. Elements and events are organized along a timeline in a time-based authoring system. Perhaps the simplest and easiest authoring process using icons or objects is called visual programming. When an authoring system controls branching based in the results of an IF-THEN decision, it is called conditional branching.

  7. “JAS Jeopardy” Chapter Overview • Chapter 12: Internet • Many web sites include pages that have answers to common inquires. These pages are known as FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions). A cluster of computers tied together to share files and communications is a network.

  8. “JAS Jeopardy” Chapter Overview • Chapter 13: Internet • Web page editors that visually show how a page looks as you are editing are often called WYSIWYG. • Chapter 14 : Internet • The tag used for inline images is the IMG tag. The tag used to specify a typeface is the FONT tag.

  9. “JAS Jeopardy” Chapter Overview • Chapter 15: • Gantt Charts depict all the tasks along a timeline. When a project reaches the delivery stage, it is said to be going gold. • Chapter 16: • The graphic outlines that describe each page of a project in exact detail are called story boards.

  10. “JAS Jeopardy” Chapter Overview • Chapter 17: • Collections of media generally granted unlimited uses are called clipart. • Chapter 18: • A program that saves all necessary run-time files to the user’s hard drive is called installer.
