Motor Skill: Muscle Endurance • Baseline:Use standard mouse and mouse pad to click. • Upgrade: Use track pad to click. • Downgrade: Use mouse pad with wrist support and/or supportive ergonomic mouse.
Cognitive Skill: Categorization • Baseline: Make photo album of pictures from Christmas of 2012 • Downgrade: Make photo album of pictures from 2012 • Upgrade: Make photo album of pictures from each holiday in 2012, with one holiday on each page
Precautions • Make sure computer screen is not facing window to avoid glare • Make sure computer is fully charged • Plug in computer if needed • Have your sound muted or have headphones plugged in • Press save after completing each page to avoid losing completed work • Clear desk of food and water • May cause frustration and confusion
Instructions 1. Turn on computer (plug in if needed) 2. Use mouse to click on “Internet Explorer” 3. Click on address bar at top of screen 4. Type in www.smilebox.com 5. Click on “Its Free-download now” Or “Get Started Now” if the program is already installed on your computer
Instructions (continued) 6. Click “save file” 7. Click “smileboxinstaller.exe” in downloads dialogue box (if it doesn’t automatically pop up) 8. Click “run” 9. Click “yes” on the user account control if it displays 10. Click “iAgreeto terms” if it displays
Instructions (continued) 13. Click “create account” then “continue” 14. Free seven day trial- click “no thanks”
Instructions (continued) 15. Type “Christmas” in the search box on the upper, right corner 16. Choose and click on your design- Scrapbook or SlideShow(Premium designs are for clubsmilebox) 16. Click “personalize” 17. Auto-fill your photos? Click “No thanks” 18. Wait for download
Instructions (continued) 19. Once opened, click on “Get photos and videos” 20. Click on “Facebook” or “My Computer” 21. If you chose “My Computer,” select your photos from the Pictures folder from library. 22. If you chose “Facebook,” a. Type in personal email and password b. Scroll over desired photo(s) and click “Add” c. “X” out of facebook screen when done
Instructions (continued) 23. Once you have chosen all of your pictures, click on the page you want to begin working on. 24. Click on a picture from the picture box and drag to desired spot 25. Click on the text box to add text 26. You can personalize the background, border color, slide show time, etc. from the right side of screen. 27. Choose music or no music
Instructions (continued) 28. Once you have finished, click on “Preview” to make sure it is finished. 29. Then click on “Share, print, or DVD” 30. Click on “Send” 31. Type email address in the “To:” box. 32. Click “Continue” 33. Click the “Free” button then “Continue”
