Community Affairs: Armed Forces Outreach

1. Description: engage our local military community to promote mutual goals and objectives. • Major Activities: • Visit senior leaders in our geo market • Send letter to all commands at Langley and Ft Eustis • AFCEA at Family Support Center and Transition Assistance Program. • Supporting Chapter Objective(s): • Perform five chapter outreach events (including both small and large businesses, and military commands) – with emphasis on Ft Eustis and Ft Monroe outreach. • Partner with AFCEA International through support to Joint Warfighter Conference (JWC) and other AFCEA events. • Focus our recruitment on key target audiences such as new Young AFCEANs and Enlisted members.
