  12. “Screening” in GSAXcess • Excess personal property (as defined in §102-36.40) not required for the needs of any Federal agency, as determined by GSA • The State Agencies for Surplus Property (SASP) handle the donation of most surplus property to eligible donees in their States

Finding and Acquiring Federal Surplus • All Federal Property is listed in GSAXcess.gov • You must have a unique user access code. • Need Name, Email, Phone # • Please send a request to DOASFedSur@doas.ga.gov • Once you locate the item you want, we’ll make the request to GSA • Need the Item Control Number • There is always a service charge • There are always restrictions • If allocated, you’ll have 14 days to pick up
