Based on latitude, these countries should have a subarctic climate, with cold winters and heavy snowfall. Instead, the climate is generally very mild. Ireland’s average daytime temperature in the winter is 46° F. In July, its 70° F. Write two or three clear sentences explaining why the climate of the far west of Europe is so temperate.
