  1. 摇 法 Rotating Manipulation

  2. 概念Concept 用双手分别握住治疗关节的近侧端与远侧端，在关节的生理运动范围内，顺着关节运动轴的方向，使关节做前后伸屈、左右侧屈或环转等被动运动的手法，称为摇法。

  3. Hold the proximal and distal ends of the affected joint with both hands respectively and move the joints with forward and backward flexion-extention, right and left lateral flexion, or rotation, within the limit of its physiological movement along the joint moving axis.

  4. 动作结构Structure of Operation 术者一手握在受术者被摇关节近侧上端，使受术关节固定，另一手握在受术关节远侧下端，根据关节运动轴的不同结构，用力使受术关节做各个不同方向与幅度的被动摇动。如肩、肘、腕、指、趾等关节的摇法，即是如此操作。

  5. With one hand, the doctor holds the upper proximal end of the patient’s rotated joint to fix it and holds its lower distal end with the other hand. The doctor rotates the joint with force in different direction and within different ranges according to structures of the joint moving axis. Rotations of shoulders,elbows,wrists, fingersand toes fall into this operation.

  6. 注意事项Precaution 在施术过程中，双手的动作要互相协调。用力要平稳缓和，摇动幅度要由小渐大，不得超越关节的生理运动范围。如果受术关节处在粘连等病理状态而运动幅度明显缩小时，摇动的幅度应以病人能够耐受为度，循序渐进，切勿操之过急。

  7. In course of operations, the two hands should be well coordinated; the force used smooth and moderate; rotation range from narrow to wide, and not beyond the moving limit of the joints.If the operated joints are in pathological states such as adhesion and its degree of moving is distinctly decreased, the rotation scope should be within the patient’s permissible limit. It should be finished step by step. Haste is forbidden.

  8. 功效Effect • 具有滑利关节、解除粘连、舒筋解痉、增强与恢复关节运动功能的功效。 • It has the function of lubricating joints, releasing adhesion, relaxing muscles and tendons, relieving spasm, strengthening and renewing articular moving ability.

  9. 临床应用Clinical Application • 本法是关节被动运动类的手法之一。可用于颈、腰椎及四肢等全身关节。 • Rotation is one of manipulations of passive articular moving, which may be applied to joints all over the body such as the neck,lumbar vertebrae,and extremities.

  10. 对颈椎病、腰椎间盘突出症、腰椎增生及四肢关节炎症或损伤所致的关节粘连、强直屈伸不利肿胀疼痛等病症有较好的治疗作用。对颈椎病、腰椎间盘突出症、腰椎增生及四肢关节炎症或损伤所致的关节粘连、强直屈伸不利肿胀疼痛等病症有较好的治疗作用。

  11. It is also curative for cervical spondylopathy, prolapse of lumbar intervertebral disc, lumbar vertebral hyperplasia, and symptoms of articular adhesion, stiffness, inconvenient flexion and extension, swelling and pain which are caused by articular inflammation or sprain of extremities.
