Electronic Record - Goal • To implement a Holistic Patient Registration, Scheduling and Electronic Record for all clinical and non-clinical programs/services provided at the Garden River Wellness Centre • To build a model based on our holistic approach hence naming of the Electronic Record – Medical, Health did not define our needs – therefore the “Electronic Wellness Record”

  6. Our Unique Electronic Record • Every provider counted: • Privacy and Security issues were addressed during mapping of roles and responsibilities of both clinical and non-clinical staff including Traditional Healer, Prevention/Promotion workers; Centralized patient/client registration for every provider; • One Client - One Record • Improved communication between providers; • Unique Status Number displayed in demographic screen; • Simplified a reporting “nightmare” i.e. Federal, Provincial funder requirements;
