  13. LeakSeal FAQs Q.I sprayed LeakSeal and it foamed and left pinholes? A. The foam is there on purpose it allows the coating to build thickness. The foam will dissipate within a minute or less. A couple minutes after the initial spray shooting another quick spurt will fill in the pinholes and knock them down. Varying the distance from the substrate will alter the amount of foam. Spraying from multi-angles using multiple coats produce the best results.

At this point, LeakSeal is not recommended for sealing surfaces that are continually under water. It performs well on surfaces that experience intermittent water exposure or ponding. Q. Can LeakSeal be used as a non-slip floor coating? A. Not recommended. The coating stays soft to fill and maintain flexibility so it will mar with high traffic use.
