Countries across the globe! • With your partner, brainstorm the names of as many countries as you can think of. • Now for a challenge….in this game, Partner A says the name of a city or country (e.g. Rome), and Partner B says the name of a city or country that starts with the LAST letter of Partner A’s city (e.g Egypt) • Rome • Egypt • Tanzania • Australia • Alexandria…

  3. Vacationing! • Do you like to vacation in exotic destinations? Why or why not? • Where have you been on vacation? What was the experience like? • Where would you like to go for your next vacation? Why? • What is the ideal vacation for you? Seeing sights? Relaxing on the beach? Going to museums? Eating great food? Why?

  4. Amusement parks! • Do you like amusement parks? Why or why not? • Have you ever been to an amusement park? What was your experience like? What was your favorite part of the amusement park? • If you could go to any amusement park in the world, where would you go?

  5. The video • Little Britain is a British TV series.   7. Reflection • Have you ever had a horrible travel experience? • Do you prefer to use a travel agent’s or an online travel agency? Why? • If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?

  8. Role play • Partner A works in a travel agency, and Partner B wants to go on a trip, but hasn’t yet decided where s/he would like to go. Partner A offers several trips, but Partner B thinks the first trips that are offered are too expensive.
