MaGrid: Moroccan Infrastructure for Scientific Computation

MaGrid aims to build a power computation infrastructure for scientific researchers in Morocco, facilitating national and international collaborations. It provides resources such as BDII, WMS, LB, VOMS for grid users and administrators. Future plans include migration to SL5.4/64bit, adding more resources, and joining EGI as an observer member.

  3. Goal of MaGrid • Build the Moroccan infrastructure for a power computation dedicated to scientific researchers. • Allow to Moroccan scientific community the increase of relationship at a national and international scale.

  4. MaGrid ressources (MA-01-CNRST) BDII, WMS, LB, VOMS for MaGrid are not configured yet !!!

  5. MaGrid ressources (MA-02-CNRST) Will be operational as soon as possible, and other resources can be added

Next actions • Add more resources to the 2 sites of CNRST. • Configure the grid services such as BDII, WMS, LB and others .. • Install Athena and Ganga software • Provide multiple sessions of training for grid users and administrators • Perform the MaGrid NGI • Joining EGI as an observer member !!!
