Context • Research and Evaluations have played critical role in development and success of various schemes across the world • After one year of PM-JAY launch there is a strong need to know: • What is working and what is not? • Whether the scheme is reaching its desired objectives? • What policy level changes are required? • What operational modifications needs to be done?

Context • It is also important to share progress and trends with the world based on data being generated • NHA with support of its partners like GIZ, WHO, World Bank has started some research activities • However, much more needs to be done… • “Research is formalized curiosity.
