  3. Things to consider… • Suitable Clothing – two long days on the coach = comfortable clothing. Full days out whilst there, so take layers for flexibility – you won’t be going back to get changed! • Who know what the weather will do! So, sensible shoes / sun cream/ waterproof coat would be a good idea • You need to bring a towel each, but bedding is provided • Coach capacity is limited – ideal would be one soft holdall per person • Once you know your rooms, arrange one person to take hairdryer, one straighteners, etc • Please, only use school contact in EMERGENCY • Snacks/drinks for outbound journey • No excessive money – it’s only pocket money as all meals provided except lunch on departure day • Leave expensive electronics at home, we’ll be too busy for you to use them  • Ear plugs • Phone charger AND adaptor • Buddy system – must stay together • Travel sickness remedies/medication if required.

  4. Conduct Show respect for staff, students, members of the public at all times, this means sticking to the ground rules laid out here: • Remain in buddy groups at all times- this is the same people you are rooming with, so that you are always in groups of 3 or 4. • Stay in hotel rooms after room checks, with doors locked. • Be back at arranged meeting points on time, or risk losing the privilege of freedom. • Speak to a member of staff before reaching for your mobile if you have a problem – give us a chance to resolve before you worry parents. • Ensure that you have the school mobile number 07493 179402 stored in your phone in case of problems, and that your phone is always charged and switched on. • This will be a friendly trip – leave cliques and prejudice at home please. Many of you are away without parents for the first time = exciting AND daunting, so support one another.
