  3. Daily Journal 2/5/2013 • Have you ever volunteered? What did you do? How did volunteering make you feel? Be honest! • - Please leave a “paragraph size” space BLANK after your daily journal!!

  4. Homework • Please compare your homework with your team.

  5. Quotes and Ellipsis • Use “these” for people speaking. • Use ‘these’ for people speaking inside of speech • … this is an ellipsis. It is used to show that words are missing. • [ these ] are used to replace words in an exact quote.

  6. Discuss Have you ever volunteered? What kind of work was it? What volunteer organizations are at Kyung Hee? Who benefits from these organizations? Think of a problem in your community. What kind of volunteer project could help this problem?

  7. Discuss Discuss the questions on page 89.
