  2. mIRC 6.02 Setup From http://www.mirc.com click on the download and try link. This will reveal several mirror sites from where to download

  4. Read this and click yes

  5. Installation mIRC installs into its own directory Suggest unchecking these and validating the version Click INSTALL when ready

  6. Close this window Uncheck this

  7. Options Click each + to open Insert totally fake name Insert fake e-mail like me@me.com Nicks should match persona

  8. Connect Continued Down arrow reveals list of servers Do not click here until configuration is complete

  9. Options Can change the assigned port

  10. Moves last used server to the top of list

  11. Perform Must be typed in exactly

  12. Local Info This will be filled in by the server

  13. Identd

  14. Firewall Leave as default

  15. IRC Whois opening in the chat window can be useful

  18. Messages Fun but not suggested

  20. Logging Set to BOTH Check Timestamp Check date filenames ….. BY DAY
