  6. Discussion Questions • Discuss Nathanael’s question, “Nazareth! Can anything good come from there?” (Jn 1:46) (How do you think Nathanael asked this question? Angry, curious, sarcastic?) • Nazareth = backwater town, never mentioned in OT, Nazareth = despised Mt 2:23; Jn 1:46, 7:52 • What does his question indicate concerning the childhood of Jesus? • Probably poor from a poor town
