  2. There is nothing that exists in our lives for no reason. Like a lot of us also think that the usage of roman numerals is obsolete but there are still in trend and use. The binary system is an important part of our life. Moreover, the technology that is being used today is very much dependent on the binary number system. Gottfried Leibniz was the founder of the binary number system and he got the inspiration for this from the transcript or Chinese book named ‘1 Ching’ and it means the book of changes.

  3. Uses Of A Binary Number System • There is different application of binary number system in daily life. The prominent and common use of the binary number system is in the computer system. Digital encoding is the reason for it and it is the foundation of computer programming and language. The digital encoding which is used in the computers is based on the binary number system or on the two symbols which are very much used for expressing the various figures in the binary number system. These days, the world depends on visual data rather than written data. For example, bits or binary numbers are used for encoding images for the imagery.

  4. For encoding an image, a dedicated binary line is used. For instance, if an image is displayed on the screen with the usage of 16-bit code so the pixel will be provided with the instructions in 1s and 0s regarding that color will be shown by the pixel. The outcome of around 65, 000 colors can be expected based on this figure. The binary number system is also used when the computer makes calculations. The numbers are added by machines by flipping the switches and it is controlled by Boolean algebra. The switches can be in the state of only on and off. There is not any intermediate state of the switches. The reliability of computers is increased with this and the chances of exceptions are eliminated as there cannot be any intermediate state.

  5. There is another application of binary number system and that is the usage in IPs or internet protocol. The binary numbers are used in the internet protocol addressing system. So this system is depended on the binary number system for the IP addresses generation. Nowadays there are two types of IPvs one if IPv4 and the other is IPv6. Further, these are divided into different categories like A, B, and C. Every class has different network addresses and hosts. The binary number system is also used in the ASCII code. It is the method that represents the characters that are used for the encoding of the text documents. Those how to want to learn about binary code can use the binary tool for it. The data can be converted from Binary to English and also binary to ASCII. The binary number system has a very significant role in our daily life. We use different technologies in our daily life and everything is working with the Binary codes.
