My Favorite Grandma By Haylea Nafziger
The person I admire the most is my Grandma Helen. She was kind and a hard worker. She was always trust worthy to others. That’s why I admire her the most.
My grandma was born on July 31, 1925. She had a mom and a dad. Their names are Ruth and Harold Harper. She had one sister and one brother. Their names are Junior Harper and Gertha Sabus. My Grandma Helen was about 6 feet tall. She had brown eyes and was very thin. Grandma grew up on a farm south of Argonia, Kansas. She got married on Dec. 31, 1945 to Clayton Nafziger. Helen was 77 years old when she past away.
She had 4 jobs they were working at the bank, Argonia Elementry Secretary, house wife, and worked in the field for her husband. Helen raised two children their names are Rita White and Rick Nafziger. She liked to volunteer for stuff like soup suppers and things like that.
The reason I admire her the most is because she was responsible, loving, caring, and was kind to others, and loved kids, and sponsored kids, and sponsored schools. That’s why I admire her the most.
She was an awesome grandma. I will always admire her for always watching over me and others when I asked and for doing stuff for me and others. She cared, loved, and will never forget me in her heart.
