  3. Research help • Whether you just need a little help getting started or help with a complex assignment we can help you with: • Refresher classes in online training • Cost effective strategies • Legislative histories • Selecting treatises

  4. Routed titles • The library has a wide assortment of paper and electronic periodicals to help you stay current, such as: • Legal newspapers • Subject specific periodicals • Online sources, CCH, BNA, Hein online • Alert services

  5. Deskbooks • Whether you are a first year Associate or a Senior Partner the library has an assortment of desk books to help you practice, our most popular titles include: • Delaware, or NY Corporate Statutes • Federal/ Local Court Rules • Bankruptcy Law • SEC NASD handbooks • UCC guide books

  6. Library Databases • Westlaw: Training every Wed. afternoon • Lexis: Training every Tuesday morning • GSIOnline: Training as needed • CCH online services: Training as needed • No passwords will be issued without training

  7. Case Pulls • The library staff is happy to assist you with case pulls electronic or otherwise, help identifying other primary sources: • Statues, Rules and Regulations • Shepardizing, electronic, or paper

  8. Interlibrary loans • The NY library belongs to a consortium of private law firm libraries. We also have memberships and associations with professional and academic libraries, through out the city. • Even if we don’t have we can find it!

  9. Continuing Legal Education • The NY library in conjunction with professional development can help you locate CLE classes that are of interest • Provide CLE classes in video or audio format for credit. • Help you develop materials to teach a CLE class
