  2. Getting A Webcam • Some are $50 or less for people how don’t want to spend a lot of money on one. • Others that have better quality image can cost $75 or more. • But anyone will do. • There are also some computers that have a webcam built in. www.mypay-computers-credit.com

  3. Choosing A Delivery System • Use a service such as Yahoo, AOL, Skype, or Helo World. Because this is the easiest for beginners. • Use a webcam software that uploads pictures to a website via ftp [file transfer protocol]. • Use webcam software that uses your computer as a web or streaming media service.

  4. Reasons To Use A Webcam • Sending video e-mail to family and friends • Video conferencing with co-workers, clients or customers • Chatting in real-time with other webcam users in Windows Live Messenger or specialty chat rooms • Broadcasting your very own TV-like “channel” over the Net

Helpful Hints • Sending recorded video messages via e-mail is more secure than real-time Internet chatting. • You can turn on a sensor function that can transform the device into a “nanny cam” so it will turn on once it senses movement. • Adjust your webcam to your face and most importantly look into the “eye” of the webcam.
