The largest Carrefour in France It is the reference and pilot store for new concepts, and it covers all categories in only one level. 8. Other places to see If you are planning on extra time in Paris, Other recommended store-visits are: • Galeries Lafayette, is close to the hotel and is a place for clothing, perfumes, jewelry, make-up and other fashion articles • Forum des Halles, Metro/ underground shopping mall (close to the hotel by Metro) It has a certain metro look but holds some very interesting stores • Printemps, (close to Lafayette)seems a bit more modern, but covers pretty much the same categories as Galeries Lafayette • Grand Arch - Les4Temps, (about 10 min by Metro) Includes a 35 year old Auchan Hypermarket. Has an In-store pharmacy in the Hygiene dept, wine cellar, and 2nd floor with non-food products. • Carrousel du Louvre, is a huge mall beneath the Louvre Museum itself, combining retail and culture. One can find there whatever one wants, more or less, and also enjoy the beautiful and modern architecture of the place Store Visit Route – October 24th Nordic Retailing Conference 2007
