Rapid Response Experience • Performed ALL Rapid Response functions prior to TDLWD hiring State Rapid Response Coordinators • Continued to provide majority of RR services • Since July 2011 responded to 21 companies affecting approximately 3,800 employees • Small Businesses with 4-6 employees • 200 (Ferry Morse Seed) • 400-600 (Milan Arsenal and Briggs & Stratton) • 2,000 (Goodyear & contract staff)

Tennessee Works Act • Business Services Team Integrated TN Works into Existing OJT Program • Current PY = 18 companies with 202 positions • TN Works: December 15 – November 15, 2013 • Goal - $141,000 for 60 positions • 100% of funds obligated – referring job seekers • Contracted with 8 companies & 44 positions filled • Received additional $47,000 for 20 positions (May)
