Root: • A word part that comes from another language • Indicates a word family

Video contemplations… • Consider some of these words from our list of roots: • To do, to act, low, to hold, to go, to believe, to run, to say, to lead, equal, even, to bring, to make, to write, to bend, to write, to follow, to appear, to touch, to hold, to stretch, to draw • If you had to come up with a collective category for these words, what would it be?
