Question 4 TARGET AUDIENCE
GENDER? • Typically the Rock magazine industry is aimed at men, the magazine I created is a multi gender publication and is open to both sexes.
AGE? • The age group for AfterLife would aim to be between 15-40 this appeals to the majority of concert attendees and therefore would appeal to a larger audience then restricting the target.
MUSIC GENRE? • For Afterlife I chose Rock and Metal as the genre, the reason being on my feedback this was the most popular genre. This could not appeal to a classical genre for the reason that the musicians and contents could not appeal across to other genres.
FUTURE PLC • Future plc (LSE: FUTR) is a media company; in 2006, it was the sixth-largest in the United Kingdom. AFTERLIFE • My magazine follows the Rock/Metal genre and is aimed concerts. There is not a specific male or female appeal and the magazine itself is kept unisex to attract a wider audience at people between the age of 15 and 40, this is because this is the main age of people that attend concerts.
