“WHEN YOU TRY TO BE LIKE SOMEONE ELSE, THE BEST YOU CAN EVER BE IS NUMBER TWO” Welcome message by: VIKAS NATH, Ph.D Director (Incharge) and Dean (Academics), BVIMR- New Delhi
Be your self • You are like a tree- you must put forth the fruit that’s created in you.( What you do in these three years is what you will get after three years) • You cannot be common. The common goes nowhere. You must be uncommon to be champion. (Learn different things to create difference within yourself) • Hold fast to time! Use it! Be conscious of each day, each hour. They slip away unnoticed all too easily and swiftly.(Each class and each task is important, hence don’t miss it)
Life is about collaborating and connecting with people, no man is island. ( Make friends and learn to share). • You were not born a winner and you were not born a looser. You are what you make yourself to be.(Every day, decide what is good for you- enjoyment with studies or enjoyment without studies)
Time is moving, Are you? • Someday is not a day of week. • Killing time is not a murder, it’s a suicide. • We cannot waste time, we can only waste our self. • To choose time is to save time. • We work not only to produce but give value to time • Time is a file that wears and makes no noise.
Take time to think. It’s the source of power. • Take time to play. It is the secret of perpetual youth. • Take time to laugh. It is the music of soul. • Take time to pray. It is the greatest power on earth.
