Highlight roles in patient care, quality, clinical governance & health improvement • Shape and influence policy at local & national level • Establish links with other national bodies relevant to science in healthcare

  8. Federation for HCS - Aims (2) • Ensure there is an effective national forum to exchange information & good practice in HCS. Support networks and HCS groups & professions at local and national level • Provide support for emerging HCS groups • Develop/promote R&D capacity in HCS • Contribute to workforce planning, including recruitment and retention • Advise and respond to new developments in healthcare science
