Women rebel • In the 1920’s women started to rebel against society to gain intellectual independence • Trying to transition from old domestic ways of women • Some ways they rebelled were using profanity in public and smoking
Schools • Americans kept children in schools because they didn’t depend on their wages like before • College numbers increased • New schools were built with huge gyms and laboratories
