History • GCU was founded in 1949. It is located in the heart of Phoenix, Arizona. • In addition to the traditional campus, GCU offers online programs that allow you to be in any location studying at any time of day or night you choose. • GCU sponsors Lecrae, a young hip-hop Christian artist, spreading the word of Christ, with a message that GCU strongly believes in.
Standards • Students who are interested in earning a bachelor's degree must have a high school diploma or GED. Work experience is also recommended. • Freshman out of state must have 2.7 GPA and in state students must have 2.0.
