Scriptural Church OrganizationSAINTS: Members At Work INTRODUCTION -The members of a local church are an important part of the organization of the church (Philippians 1:1) -Keep in mind that it is faithful saints that become elders, deacons, evangelists and teachers in the kingdom -In this lesson we want to discuss: -What Is A Saint? -What Are The Saints Responsibilities?

  3. Scriptural Church OrganizationSAINTS: Members At Work What Is A Saint? -A Saint Is A Part Of The Lord’s Church- > We are called to be saints, and a body of sanctified believers (I Cor. 1:2) > We are called out of the world to be God’s own people (Acts 9:13; Rom. 1:7; I Pet. 2:9-10)

  4. Scriptural Church OrganizationSAINTS: Members At Work What Is A Saint? -A Saint Lives Worthy Of Being A Saint- > We must be willing to live a consecrated life to God’s service (Rom. 16:2; Eph. 5:1-5) > Walking worthy is our duty (Eph. 4:1; Col. 1:10)

Scriptural Church OrganizationSAINTS: Members At Work APPLICATION -The church of our Lord is made up of saints…those who have been saved and are faithfully dedicated to God -Saints must have a proper relationship with the rest of the body of Christ, and maintain all of their responsibilities -Faithful saints will be rewarded (Eph. 1:11; Col. 1:12; 3:24)

Scriptural Church OrganizationSAINTS: Members At Work APPLICATION -There is an inheritance that will be given to all the saints (Heb. 9:15; I Peter 1:4) -Have you become a saint by obeying that gospel of Jesus Christ? -Are you a hard working member of the kingdom of God? Faithful in service? (See I Cor. 12:12-25)
