Polio Eradication In 1985, Rotary International promised every child a world free from the threat of polio. Since then, the number of countries that continue to be polio endemic has declined from over 125 to just three.
#1 The human cost: If we choose to control polio rather than eradicate it, polio could rebound to 10 million cases in the next 40 years. Top 5 reasons to eradicate polio
