The constructof PIL • It is manualbased. • The teacherfollows a script. • The teacher has some form of presentation i g a movie, or a powerpoint. • The teachers manual containsexercises and questions for the parentstoworkwith. • The teacherknowwheretodirectparentswhoseekfurtherknowledge or support.

  4. Requirements on PIL • It must be easytousewithout expert knowledge • The subject must be age appropiate • The information offered must be valid • The exercisesused must be whitin the comfortzone for the parentsand the teacher • It shouldaimtostrengthen the relations betweenschool and parents
