However, millions of people around the world struggle to get adequate, restful sleep. This can result from various factors, including medical conditions, lifestyle habits, and mental health issues. Such difficulties in sleeping are called sleep disorders. What are Sleep Disorders? Sleep disorders refer to the conditions that affect the quality, quantity, and regularity of sleep. RLS can be caused by various factors such as iron deficiency, kidney disease, or medication side effects. Narcolepsy:  Narcolepsy is a sleep disorder that causes excessive daytime sleepiness and sudden episodes of sleep. It is caused by the brain's inability to regulate the sleep-wake cycle. People with narcolepsy can fall asleep at any time, even while driving or working, which can be dangerous.

  5. Parasomnias: Parasomnias are a group of sleep disorders that involve abnormal behaviours during sleep, such as sleepwalking, night terrors, and sleep talking. They can be caused by various factors such as stress, anxiety, or medication side effects.
