Measuring Tornados Tornados are measured by scales like ef0,ef1,ef2,ef3, ef4,ef5. The fajita scale is a common way of measuring the strength of tornadoes. The scale ranges from ef0 tornadoes that cause minimal damage through to ef5 tornadoes which cause massive damage.
