WLTP – organisation & coordination In June 2010 (GRPE & WP.29) it was decided to proceed further under the framework of the 1998 agreement (GTR development), but to undertake a re-assessment in June 2011 It was also decided to freeze the activities of the WLTP informal group, to concentrate on the work of the sub groups DHC and DTP, and to deal with heading and coordinating issues during the proper GRPE sessions in 2011

WLTP – organisation & coordination • Conclusions from the last 12 month: • Very good progress in work of the two sub groups DHC and DTP • Lack in organisation and coordination of WLTP work • (e.g. definition of responsibilities, drafting of the gtr text, planning of validation, preparation of GRPE and WP.29 decisions, …)

  9. WLTP – steering group - ToR The role of DTP and DHC will not change. The steering group should not be understood as an additional level between GRPE and DTP/DHC. The main purpose is to supervise and support all WLTP activities and all sub groups permanently

WLTP – drafting coordinator (manager) Very urgent to find a person, responsible for the coordination of the gtr drafting(including drafting of the Technical Report) Many text modules for draft gtr already exists Definitions – a consistant and suitable system needs to be developed Status: European Commission is preparing a contract, but time delay because of administrative problems

WLTP – coordination of the validation process It was discussed by the steering group whether we need an overall coordination of validation phase 1 & 2, confirmation testing and round robin For the time beeing it was decided that there is a need for coordination only for validation phase 2, in close cooperation with DTP group Possible candidate is Alessandro Marotta (JRC), but final confirmation from the European Commission is outstanding Establishment of a validation 2 task force (VTF)
