Skills Needed • An engaging personality • Outgoing • Enjoy working with children • Physically fit • Business and organizational skills are helpful
Education and Experience • No formal requirements • Most learn magic from books, videos, or websites • Some complete magician training school • Years of practice
Professional Outlook • $35,000 to $50,000 a year • Highly skilled magicians can earn more • Paid by the hour, for each performance, or on a contract basis
Why Do I Like Being a Magician? • It is enjoyable for others. • It is fun and majestical. • It’s very entertaining. • I work well with bunnies and doves and well, magic. • I also work well with children. (Children like magicians, really well.) • Magicians are fun and good role models. I would like to pursue that.
