GEO Discovery and Access Broker • Discover resources: Brokers several catalogue services with differing vocabulary and offers results through a catalogue service • CSW, OpenSearch -Geo, OAI-PMH, … • Access resources: Brokers access services to provide data according to a common grid environment for facilitating its use • WMS, WFS, WCS, DAP, …
Overview • Topics: • Test new client/server interoperability with GEO DAB • Provide client/application components, tools, and services • Provide new capacities and datasets to be brokered • Support the GEO Discovery & Access Broker • New functionality and capabilities
Client/server interoperability with GEO DAB (Discovery) • New services tested and brokered: • TUD-GLUES THREDDS Data Server (159 resources) • TUD-GLUES Web Processing Service (179 resources) • MINES Paris Tech Web Service energy (49, 9 GEOSS Data Core) • Compusult Catalog Service (2703670 resources) • Compusult Catalog Client, tests are ongoing WPS CSW/ISO CSW/ISO CSW Core CSW/ISO Data Core
Client/server interoperability with GEO DAB (Access) • New services tested and brokered: • TUD-GLUES THREDDS Data Server/OPeNDAP • PyxisWorldView Client Access Broker Access Broker WMS WMS WCS
New functionalities and capabilities: Queryables Extension • Support of a new queryeableelement in the Discovery Broker: Access Protocol Queryable • It allows client applications to retrieve only datasets which are accessible through a particular access service type Tested with NOAA and presently used by OneGeology operational portal.
New functionalities and capabilities: Helper Applications • Helper Application Support • A Helper Application is a client application which is able to handle a dataset provided through: • One or more web service protocols • One or more encoding formats • The GEO DAB enriches providers’ original metadata records with the needed information to access the data with one or more Helper Applications.
