  30. 2009-2010 Summary • All schools are Schools of Progress. • Shady Brook has exited from school improvement. • KIS has exited from school improvement in reading and is one year out in math. • All schools met growth or high growth. • Even though it is not officially reported, KCS met high growth as a district.

Looking Forward to 2010-2011 • New Accountability Model will include measure for college and career readiness. • SAT, ACT or something else • ALB is working on initiatives to increase SAT participation and scores. • 61 0f 115 school districts had higher 2010 CR + M scores, but only 29 of those have comparable demographics.
