Satire Project Due TOMORROW! • Videos must be ready to show: have a backup plan: YouTube, flashdrive, DVD. DO NOT come to class with a camera that I have to plug in. • If you are doing an essay, be prepared to read it. PRACTICE! You should assume the persona of your speaker. • If you are doing a power point, have it on a flashdrive and/or the Student SAVE drive. Come prepared. You will present to the class. PRACTICE!
What to turn in • Please reread the directions VERY carefully to make sure you have everything for tomorrow. • Video groups: You will turn in ONE group script that has all the parts labeled on it: The problem, facts/stats, proposal, 3 advantages, 3 other expedients, and a motive. Make sure it is free of mistakes and has all group members’ names on it. • Essay writers: You will turn in a clean copy of your essay with all parts labeled (see above) • Power Point presenters: You will turn in a copy of your slides that follow the template on the assign drive. The six parts (see above) should be clearly labeled in the presentation. • EACH INDIVIDUAL STUDENT: All students will turn in a typed and perfect analysis of their satire. Please make sure to include the questions with your answers. There are six questions to answer and I should be able to EASILY identify what you are answering. • Make sure to staple the article that justifies your attack to the analysis. It should have an MLA citation included with the article. Those that did the interviews, you must include the questions and answers for EACH interviewee and their signature with a printed name.
NO LATE WORK WILL BE ACCEPTED! • All work is due tomorrow. If you aren’t here, have your group members bring it in or a very trust worthy friend. • This is a summative assessment. Make it your very best work.
