  2. Ship Engineers • Work Type: Operating Propulsion System, supports crew, check on ship conditions, and does repairs. • Salary: $65,880 average per year. • Education: High School Diploma, several years of experience, and formal training program.

  3. Sailor • Work Type: Repairing, Stowing and Packing, Handling Cargo, and Lookout and Watching. • Salary: $14.00 per hour • Work Required: No Certain Education but certification required.

  4. Physical Oceanography • Work Type: studies the physical anatomy of the ocean • Studies wind patterns, tidal patterns • Vital to sailors • Researches what goes on in the ocean for people’s safety while traveling or just having fun in the water • Also works for the safety of marine life

  5. Conclusion In conclusion…….. • The best marine occupation to pick in monetary terms would be a physical oceanographer. • Some careers involving water transportation don’t require much education. • Careers in this field usually make a modest salary, and job satisfaction is mediocre.
