Measure the U235 capture cross section (at least up to 2keV, but probably up to 10 keV). Measure the “alpha ratios” (ratio between capture and fission). Measure the prompt fission gamma rays. Measure the fission cross section. Objective
Two different measurement configurations: 1 – 2FTMG: 2 samples with fission detectors + 8 samples without fission detectors. 2 – 10FTMG: 10 samples with fission detectors. Measurement configuration
TAC: alpha-gamma-noise discrimination cuts. Energy calibration (with calibration sources and also run by run, using the alpha spectra of the crystals). Time calibration. FTMG: Cuts for fission events. Time calibration. Both: Fission tagging procedure. Normalization of the fission detection (tagging efficiency = fission efficiency). What has been done
