DE REŢINUT • Se numeşte gama Do Major pentru că este construită pe tonica Do şi are la bază terţă mare • Gama Do major are următoarelecaracteristici: • are semitonurile naturale ale gamei între treptele III – IV şi VII – VIII adică Mi – Fa şi Si - Do • la baza gamei există o terţă mare Do – Mi • sunetele de pe treptele I, III, V, VIII adică Do, Mi, Sol, Do alcătuiesc arpegiul gamei
